I founded This Body of Work because I wanted to find a way to help other women experience the life-changing shift that occurs when one learns how to deeply, authentically love the body she's in.

I wrote a workbook that would guide others through their own process of exploring their internal narratives about body image, and then help them create a new narrative based on appreciation, gratitude, and fearless love. Next, I had the humbling honor of enlisting a team of incredible photographers to help spread the movement. Each of us put out the call for women who were interested in exploring their narratives about body image, and the women you see before you on this website accepted that invitation.  Their adventure: complete the workbook, write about their experiences, and be photographed as their truest, realest, most uniquely beautiful selves.

I am profoundly grateful for every woman who participated in this project. Each photographer put her heart into the project, and every single participant put her whole self in the game. I am grateful for the vulnerability, courage, raw beauty, and heart of every single person who has touched this project. You are all beautiful beyond words.

I am personally dedicated to creating a wildfire movement of body love, self-acceptance, and empowerment for women.
